All anchor points in buildings need to have a PS1 from a member of IPANZ not only for the anchor certification but also for all other building codes and standards that may be affected by the installation of anchor points to other building components such as Roofing/Timber or Steel Structures. Without a PS1 and PS3 or PS4 the building owner may void his/her insurance cover on the building.

The SE00ILP Intermediate Low Profile Anchor is designed for lifelines. An 8mm to 10mm wire can simply pass through the tube mounted on top of the intermediate anchor and terminate on the end anchors. The building or structure and anchorage points shell be assessed by an engineer, unless it is clear to a height safety supervisor that the anchorage system is structurally adequate. An example of where an engineer may not be required is where an anchorage sling of aderquate strength is secured around a solid permanent structure such as a plant room. However, if any doubt exists as to the structural adequacy of the anchorage, an engineer shell make the assessment. If called upon to make the assessment the engineer shell certify in writing that all combinations of loads in a worst case situation can be safely contained by the proposed structure and anchorage points.
