The SAFETOR Side Mounted Cleats are designed to be either welded or bolted to the structure of a steel building to withstand the loadings of the SAFETOR Roof Anchors when the impact of a load has accrued due to a fall.Manufactured
The SAFETOR Top Mounted Cleats are manufactured from 10mm steel plate and a 10mm steel stiffening plate for added strength and support of the SAFETOR Roof Anchor.
Welded Cleat
The Welded SAFETOR Anchor Cleat is designed to be welded to the web of the I beam at the construction stage, or on site if welding can be carried out safely on the building structure.The mounting of the SAFETOR Anchor to be carried out at a later stage.
IMPORTANT
This cleat can be installed into existing buildings only if hot work is permitted.
Bolted Cleat
The Bolted SAFETOR
Anchor Cleat is designed
to be bolted to the web of the I beams, and to the portal legs
on existing steel buildings when the welded cleat is not an
option.IMPORTANT
This cleat can be installed into existing buildings when Hot work is not permitted.
Note:
ALL ANCHOR POINTS MUST BE POSITIONED IN THE CORRECT PLACE.
BEFORE DESIGNING ANY ANCHOR POINTS INTO ANY BUILDINGS YOU MUST FIRST CONTACT AN APPROVED AGENT AS TO THE CORRECT LOCATION OF THE ANCHORS.
